Brenda

Brenda co-founded Happy Valley Home Team with Lani. Long before real estate, she was the one out in the valley with a notebook, building the community coverage that became Hello Happy Valley. Today she brings that same curiosity and attention to detail to every client: the neighborhood knowledge, the patient listening, and the honest advice that only a local can give.

Brenda grew up in Happy Valley. In fact, she used to ride her horse up and down Sunnyside Road, and she has watched the valley change over the years, the good and the bad. That long view shows up in her work every day: she keeps up with new development and knows the five- and ten-year plans for the area, along with the details that make a neighborhood feel right. She can tell you which pockets suit an airport commute, which fit different tax situations, and which schools start at 7:15 versus 8:30. And when something around the house needs attention, she knows who to call, whether you need a new fence or your A/C goes out in the middle of a heat wave.

Not only did Brenda grow up here, she raised two kids here and has been involved on pretty much every board in the community. She also founded Hello Happy Valley, the community publication she built long before real estate entered the picture. Now that she is heading into empty-nester life herself, she understands the lifestyle changes that come with a new chapter, and she brings that personal perspective to every client's search.

Lani

Lani co-founded Happy Valley Home Team with Brenda, and the two work side by side through every search, sale, and showing. Buyers and sellers get two sets of eyes on every detail, two calendars on every deadline, and a partner who treats your move like it is her own.

Lani moved to Portland for college and loved Oregon so much that she knew Happy Valley was exactly where she wanted to raise her family. Today she is the mom of four teenagers, so she understands firsthand how much a home and a neighborhood shape a growing family. She also founded Happy Valley Insider, and through it she has spent years listening to what people in this valley actually care about.

That experience carries straight into her real estate work. Lani understands investing and downsizing, and she has the resources to help clients work through all of life's changes, big and small. Whether that means weighing a basement against a bonus room upstairs, or choosing an elementary school with an early start versus one that begins at 8:30 for a kid who likes to sleep in, she helps families make the call with confidence.

Somewhere along the way, the two of them realized they shared the same passion for this valley, and that working together is simply more fun. It is why the team is built on two equal partners, and it is the energy behind every client experience.
